(This is a working committee meeting where committee members are discussing their assigned topics pertaining to the solar installation planned by EDP Renewables in the Towns of Dunkirk, Porter, Fulton, and Albion. The public may attend and observe. There is no public comment in the August 19, 2026, committee meeting.)

CALL TO ORDER
1. Welcome
2. Pledge of Allegiance
3. Debrief 8.5.26 meeting with EDP Renewables
4. Distribute and review additional documents/resources for committee notebook
5. Tasks assigned at 7.21.26 meeting
a. Norm: Review draft Joint Resolution in support of solar legislation. Review info re legislative process: (Becky talked with Randy Udell and lft 2 msgs w League of Municipalities)
b. Becky: Joe Ruth, Wi Towns Assn will attend Sept 2. Discuss other attorney groups who specialize in solar.
c. Evan: Road Protection: Review draft RUA
d. Ryan: Contact Mark Cook re: PSC
e. Members: read sample “Joint Development Agreement.” Discuss plan to draft our own. (Start list of items we want included in the JDA)
6. Unanswered items and unassigned “action steps” from 7.21.26 meeting
a. Expand the committee?
b. “Model Ordinance” – contact author and ask to come speak with us (BD contacted – said yes)
